About Me
I am passionate about supporting people to thrive in the complex world we live in today. I understand the internal and external pressures that we all face and as a mother I am on this journey that is incredibly rewarding but not without its challenges.
I am an accredited Mental Health Social Work Professional, member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and have a current Working with Childrens Check. I adhere to the Ethical & Legal Standards of the AASW and incorporate them into my everyday practice.

I have strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills and provide a holistic service to all clients that is responsive and relevant to their individual needs. This support is underpinned by evidence based practice frameworks.I collaborate with clients using language that is age & stage appropriate, consistently checking in to ensure that clients understand what I am saying as well as understanding the meaning of what is being discussed with them. I work collaboratively with all clients, always meeting the client where they are at through a respectful and empathic working relationship.

I support each client to establish meaningful connections and engagement with family, friends and their chosen community. This is achieved through relevant strategies that support the client's emotional and social literacy so that they feel emotionally safe to engage in a way that is meaningful for them. My mission is to provide high-quality relevant interventions to enhance well being from a holistic perspective.

I have worked as an academic at La Trobe University and have many years experience in providing regular supervision to my peers as well as external supervision to social work students at Monash University. I also mentor professional social workers.

About Me
I am passionate about supporting people to thrive in the complex world we live in today. I support each client to establish meaningful connections and engagement with family, friends and their chosen community. This is achieved through relevant strategies that support the client's emotional and social literacy so that they feel emotionally safe within each session. I work from a holistic perspective collaborating with all clients, always meeting the client where they are at through a respectful and empathic working relationship.

I use a range of evidenced based therapeutic strategies that support social and emotional wellbeing. I provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental space where they can learn to identify, pause and reflect on their emotional needs allowing for developing an understanding of how these difficulties may be impacting on their wellbeing.
